  • A Quiet Life props aren’t the kind traditionally associated with theatre, though they can bring drama and atmosphere to your event. The props you can hire from me are practical, timeless and beautiful pieces that you can dress your table with, serve your food from and create unique settings to share special moments in. I would love to help you elevate your event with my varied collection of props, whether you are planning an intimate garden wedding, a 1st birthday party, a hen do, a summer picnic or a cosy winter gathering. Something I really love about sharing my pieces with you is that it reduces the amount of single-use plates, cups, tablecloths and cutlery being used at events - you can throw a great party without having to throw your plates in the bin at the end.

  • I post regularly on my Instagram about current items you are able to hire and new props I have added to the collection. A gallery showing a variety of the props and how they have previously been styled can be viewed here. For a full list of what we have available please get in touch, giving as much detail about your event or idea as you can.

  • Amazing! I can’t wait to lend you some of my lovely pieces. All you need to do is get in touch via email giving me a bit of information about your event - the date, the type of props you are interested in, colour scheme etc. The easiest way to do this is through the enquiry form on the website. Once I have received your enquiry and made sure the props are available on the date you require them I will send you through the pricing list. Once you have decided on the pieces you would like to hire let me know and I will generate an invoice and send you the terms of hire. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to confirm your booking and hold the props for your hire period. The remaining 50% of the total cost must be paid on the day you receive the props. The typical prop hire period is three days (drop off the day before your event and pick up the day after) - however depending on circumstance and other bookings around your date I can be flexible with this - if you require the props for a longer hire period there will be an additional fee per extra day of hire.

  • Yes, I would love to help you pull together a cohesive scheme that reflects you as a person and makes the most of the props I have available. It can be helpful if you gather together some images that inspire you or are the kind of look you want to emulate to help me get on board with your ideas. Contact me via email or use the enquiry form to get started, then you can send me through screenshot images, a link to a Pinterest board you have developed or if you are feeling creative, a sketch of your ideas - whatever works for you. From there we can discuss your ideas and I will propose props that I feel will work best for your scheme.

  • I am based in Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland. I am only able to hire locally within Northern Ireland at the moment - collection from my home and delivery up to 15 miles from my home is free of charge - after that there is a fee per mile to cover transport costs. We can meet half way or arrange something specific to your needs as required - please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you aren’t sure.
